Besides being family-friendly, our homes are also planet-friendly. We take a number of environmentally sound steps to save resources, save energy, and promote healthy air and water in our communities.
Saving resources, we use engineered wood products wherever possible. We install high-efficiency irrigation systems and recycle construction materials.
Saving energy, and lowering your bills, we use high-efficiency lighting, energy-efficient appliances, upgraded insulation and efficiency furnaces, energy-wise landscaping, insulating window glass and insulated hot water pipes.
For air quality, our wood is untreated with chlorine, chromium or arsenic, and we use paints & glues that have no or low amounts of unhealthy volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
